Summary

AI Copywriter is a portable Markdown skill that pairs a reader-first copywriting method with a 33-pattern humanizer for stripping AI-writing tells, so a single prompt produces copy that reads like a person wrote it. The whole skill lives in one SKILL.md file (about 8,000 tokens) with no code or dependencies, dropping into Claude, ChatGPT, Manus, or any LLM that accepts text instructions. It is MIT-licensed and extends blader/humanizer.

What it is useful for

The skill covers two related jobs. The copywriting half produces clickbait titles, meta descriptions, microcopy (buttons, error messages, empty states, destructive confirmations), subject lines, LinkedIn posts, and founder-facing strategic blog posts. Each format is driven by two upfront questions: what the reader is feeling at the moment the line reaches them, and what the simplest explanation of the offering is.

The humanizer half detects 33 documented patterns from Wikipedia's "Signs of AI writing" guide, grouped into content (significance inflation, promotional language), language (AI vocabulary, copula avoidance, rule of three), style (em-dash overuse, boldface overuse, inline-header lists), communication (sycophantic tone, chatbot artifacts), and filler/hedging categories. Concrete rewrites documented in the README include replacing "serves as" with "is" and removing curly quotes.

Engineers can use it for product copy on landing pages, in-app microcopy, README polish, blog posts, or cleaning up AI-generated PR descriptions and docs. A voice calibration mode takes a 2-3 paragraph sample of your own writing and applies your sentence rhythm to the rewrite.

For LLMs without a skill harness, upload SKILL.md to a Claude Project's knowledge, paste the full contents into a custom GPT's Instructions field, or include it in any other model's system prompt. Manus has a native install via Settings → Skills → + Add, importing from GitHub or a ZIP upload.

Typical invocations are short: /ai-copywriter followed by a prompt like "Write titles for this blog post: [paste draft]" or "Please humanize this text: [text]". The skill runs an interview loop on ICP, category, and story before drafting, and a documented no-fabrication rule means it will not invent company results, quotes, or numbers — that evidence has to come from you.
