Graphic Design roots

Graphic explorations that shaped how I engineer software

Before I was focusing on software engineering, I spent several years designing for print and digital media. This taught me how to think in systems, how to communicate visually, and how to collaborate with stakeholders. These days my focus is software, but the same attention to detail and storytelling still guides every pull request.

Most of this work was created for small businesses in verticals like brewing, apparel, and nonprofits, or as conceptual exercises. Collaborating closely with brands is exactly what nudged me toward engineering: I wanted to build the tools that power their stories, not just the visuals.
