Subaru visor mount

An OpenSCAD reconstruction with a triangular plate, reinforcing ribs, and a tilted socket with four flexible fingers. Small outward wall and rib adjustments are available while the measured bore and mounting-hole spacing stay fixed.

Printing & fit

  • Check screw seating, shaft insertion, retention, and full visor movement with a fit print.
  • Starting setup: PETG, 0.20 mm layers, 6 walls, and 50% infill; inspect the socket and underside overhangs.
  • This reconstruction has not been physically fit tested or heat tested; added socket wall changes snap-in stiffness.
