Magnetic plate holder

A rounded square holder sized for a nominal 4 × 4 × 3/16 inch steel plate. Six through-holes let the magnets touch the plate directly. Shared dimensions also drive an optional TPU sleeve, available as a source download.

Printing & fit

  • Nominal magnets are 12.7 mm diameter × 6.35 mm thick. Measure your hardware before printing.
  • Starting setup: PETG, 0.20 mm layers, 4 or more walls, and at least 30% infill.
  • Check magnet polarity before fixing magnets in place. The optional TPU sleeve forms a protective barrier over the magnet face.

Open the STL in your slicer to check orientation and supports before printing.
